If your base is already producing pork or milk you won’t need eggs. If you already breed chicken the only reason to get new meat source is to reduce lag.My rule of thumb is 300 kibble/sileage per animal to last the winter in temperate climates, but the needs of the animal and nutrition of each type of feed means this is only a rule of thumb. I came back to rimworld after some time and now I'm having difficulties with the new pen system. My animals are always hungry or even starving despite having barn full of hay, pen full of dandelions and fully grown grass.
